Meopta USA says hello to a new spotting scope, the TGA 75, that features a rugged, collapsible design.

The TGA 75 is specifically constructed for hunters, offering a durable style that allows the classic draw-tube body to the shortened from 14.8-inches to 9.8-inches when collapsed. This capability makes the spotting scope easier to carry and maneuver in the field, according to Meopta USA.

Boasting a 75mm objective lens, the fully multi-coated optics deliver high quality light transmission and clarity while Meopta’s proprietary MeoShield coating protects the lens surface from scratches. The fully-rubber-armored aluminum body is shock-proof, water-resistant and features three interchangeable eyepieces — 30x WA-R (wide angle ranging), 30x WA (wide angle) or 20-60x zoom.

“The compact TGA 75 spotting scope is ideal for hunters on the move and especially popular with those who pack into remote areas,” Randy Garrison, Director of Meopta USA Sport Optics, said in a press release. “Size, weight and optical performance are important, and the TGA 75 delivers on all fronts.”

The TGA 75 retails for $899 while each eyepiece is priced individually at $399.
